Did you look in the mirror this morning and notice fine lines or wrinkles that weren’t there yesterday? Do you think you look older than you are or older than you want to? It might be time to consider a cosmetic treatment. The most popular and effective is the neurotoxin.
Chelsea Skin & Laser creates customized Botox and Dysport treatments just for you. Carefully placed, these products can prevent, soften and reduce the appearance of fine lines on the forehead, between the brows, around the eyes, minimize neck bands or smoker’s lines. If your brows have gotten heavy or flat we can create a bit of a lift to brighten your eyes.
With a delicate touch and precision, a few tiny injections are placed based on the plan developed for you. No anesthesia is needed but for sensitive patients, a cool pack may be used to gently numb the area for your comfort. The procedure takes no more than 15 minutes per area. Relaxation is gradual, usually starts 24-48 hours after treatment and progresses to full correction in about two weeks. Botox and Dysport last 3-6 months in most patients.
Dr. Eidelman and Dr. Ginsberg are experts trained and experienced in tailoring Botox and Dysport to your treatment goals. Chelsea Skin & Laser assures artistic, natural results that compliment a youthful, healthy appearance.
Dr. Eidelman is a master trainer for the companies that make these products. He is considered one of the top injectors in the country.
What are Botox and Dysport?
They are FDA Approved prescription medicines that act as wrinkle relaxers. When injected into targeted areas they can temporarily improve, smooth or relax the look of moderate to severe wrinkling of frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles, neck bands, and upper lip wrinkles in adults. Each contains a purified protein that relaxes the small muscles that cause excessive contraction.
A few good reasons to try:
Smooth fine lines & wrinkles, provide a more refreshed & youthful appearance, help prevent new wrinkles from forming, requires no downtime.
How do we charge?
Everyone has different musculature and the treatment is tailored to your needs. We charge by area. We caution patients when comparing pricing by units. The product is reconstituted and not every office follows manufacturers guidelines. Experience, integrity and skill level are so much more important than the convenience of a walk-in storefront.
What to do after treatment:
Remain vertical for approximately 2 hours after treatment. Avoid laying down or inverting. Avoid sun exposure for 3 days. Make up may be used to cover any area of redness after the treatment. Light exercise is permitted.
When should I schedule my next Botox or Dysport treatment?
Botox and Dysport results begin to develop gradually over the course of the following few days and may take up to 2 weeks to fully realize. You will not see results right away. The treatment lasts 3 to 4 months in most people before needing to be repeated. It’s normal for the treatment to start softening after 2-3 months. Schedule your appointments 3-4 months apart.
Who should avoid treatment?
If you are pregnant or nursing, have a neuromuscular disease, or you are taking the following medications: streptomycin, neomycin, gentamicin, or tobramycin. If you have a cow’s milk allergy it is not recommended to use Dysport. Or if you have a known allergy to albumin, it is not recommended to use these products.
We offer Scrotox for scrotal rejuvenation.
Scrotox for scrotal rejuvenation is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment to the scrotum using Botox. This effective, cosmetic treatment places a series of tiny injections in the area to make the testicles hang lower, looser, appear larger and smooth the appearance of the skin. Many men have reported an increase in sexual pleasure post treatment. It may also help reduce sweating in the area.
Scrotox is a non-invasive procedure with minimal discomfort having proved successful in men of all ages. After your consultation and examination, topical numbing cream will be applied to the area to minimize discomfort. This will be followed by a series of carefully placed injections. The procedure is quick, requiring no down time other than abstaining from exercise and intercourse for approximately 24 hours.
What are the side effects?
As with any cosmetic treatment there may be potential side effects that include but are not limited to: mild puffiness, discomfort, numbness, swelling, bruising or redness at the injection site, feeling a tightness/tingling in the area, fever, chills, and depending on the area headache (13%), eyelid droop (3%). There has been a study linking Scrotox to lower sperm count. These effects are generally mild and temporary. Bruising risks can be minimized by avoiding aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, ibuprofen, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, concentrated garlic and alcohol for one week prior to treatment.
